Scott Freeman earned his Bachelor of Science degree in communications from the University of Iowa. He brings 25 years of marketing and public relations experience to Heartland Career Partners, working extensively in the financial services industry in a variety of home office and field roles. He most recently brokered financial products nationally for more than 50 of the leading insurance and investment companies worldwide.

Ms. Kay came to Heartland Career Partners with over 20 years experience in business management, consulting and corporate education to the Consumer Lending, Insurance, Medical, Pharmaceutical, Telecommunications and Entertainment industries. Companies such as American Express, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, State Farm, Allstate, Nationwide, large and small private practice, Synergy and Harris Specialty Chemical have relied on her knowledge and expertise to streamline practices and procedures. Ms. Kay has acted as an expert witness and legislative liaison for clients in the medical insurance arena. Involved in the early development of computerized systems for patient records management, her efforts created the ability for health care providers to streamline, manage, and grow their business.

Mr. Kemery has had a long and distinguished career in the Workforce Education field. A long-time trainer and consultant, he has worked with some of the most prestigious organizations in the country. His clients have included several branches of the U.S. Military, Disney, Universal Studios, Johnson & Johnson, Florida Times Union, Seibel, Paul W. Davis Systems, Inc., U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers, Bank of America, The Federal Reserve Bank, and several NASA contractors. Mr. Kemery graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a Bachelor’s degree in Workforce Education and the University of North Florida with a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management.

Mr. Klipfel received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Master of Arts degree in Educational Psychology Guidance and Counseling from the University of South Dakota. Prior to joining Heartland Career Partners, he consulted and owned a marketing communications company specializing in consumer, business-to-business, insurance, financial, health care, manufacturing, and retail clients. He currently assists clients in developing specific career search goals, objectives and strategies. He is also primarily responsible for marketing the company's services and establishing community networks and contacts on behalf of the organization and specific clients.

Mr. Lampman has more than 20 years of experience in executive level leadership roles focusing primarily in business development. Mr. Meeker, President and Founder of Heartland Career Partners Iowa Corporation and Heartland Career Partners Minnesota Corporation, has more than 30 years of progressively responsible experience directing hundreds of employees in companies with revenues in excess of $200 million. Among his significant previous positions, Mr. Meeker served as Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer for the Integrity Group, a regional career management firm with eleven offices nationwide. He also served as a Director of Fixed Operations for a privately held firm with revenues in excess of $250 million. Mr. Meeker has an extensive background in operational, developmental, labor relations and human resource management. Mr. Meeker was awarded two terms as President by his peers in 20 consecutive years of membership in the elite “Only the Best Club” by General Motors Corporation. He was also honored with entry into the 1999 issue of the “Who’s Who in America” publication. He served on the Advisory Board for Des Moines Area Community College for several years. He also served on the National Board of Directors for ASE. Mr. Meeker has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and has Graduate Certificates from several Law Enforcement Academies as well as a graduate of GMUAM.

Ms. Meeker joined Heartland Career Partners Corporation in July 2004 bringing over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, being most recently employed by GTE/Verizon providing professional services to their Corporate Fraud Investigation Units. In her role with HCP, Ms. Meeker is responsible for the initial contact and the pre-qualification of over 4,000 client candidates monthly. Ms. Meeker is a member of the Board of Directors and serves as the corporations Treasurer/Secretary. She provides administrative support to the Corporations President / CEO.
Director of Marketing / Client Services Manager / Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Mr. Whiting earned Bachelor of Science degrees from both Syracuse and the State University of New York. His background includes 30 years of leadership in educational program development and personnel and business management with non-profit corporations in Nebraska and Iowa. From our Cedar Rapids, Iowa office, Mr. Whiting is responsible for helping client’s access resource networks and contacts in Eastern Iowa.
